COVID-19
Introduction
With the novel coronavirus, Europe and the world are facing an epidemic the likes of which has been seen in a century. Local and regional governments are on the frontlines of this crisis, enforcing city curfews, organising distance learning classes and continuing to provide essential public services, to name just a few examples. Our goals
- To share best practices among our members on how to adapt their work and fight against COVID-19
- To ensure a coordinated response among all levels of goverment: local, provincial, regional, national, European and indeed global
- To communicate local and regional governments' needs to the European institutions, in particular in terms of providing fiscal flexibility and financial support, but also in promoting a coherent pan-European response
